monkey clowns

the act of juggling
emotions
actions
tasks
toil
drudgery
pleasure

it makes me feel as if we are all clowns
doing the same juggling act
year after year
evolution can simply be the fact that we keep adapting
to handle more and more and more monkey clown tasks
we have evolved into super monkey clowns, capable of juggling
everything with complete precision and perfect execution

on the other side of the arguement
we could just be monkeys
doing monkey things
we do what we are told
good little monkey
do this
jump here
go there
no, don't do that, it's not what good little monkeys do

sometimes, if we are lucky
we follow our instincts
right or wrong
and we happen upon magic

but just how magical can monkeys be?
